Every district and school community is unique with unique resources, history, circumstances, and needs.   Therefore, Parent Engagement Solutions is highly committed to creating  customized solutions relevant to the needs of each community.   You will find us ready to apply the FIVE ELEMENTS to whatever goals or challenges you are facing, in a manner that accelerates your progress and maximizes your  organizational momentum.   We are  committed to finding and creating  the solutions   that are   right for you, while enabling you and your leaders to perpetually create excellent, customized solutions well after we are done.   
Our primary strategy is to enable better solution development from local community members.   Yes, we offer solution ideas, and recommendations after analyzing your school/district practices, but for any community to create, nurture, grow, and realize perpetual excellence, there needs to be a successful leadership-legacy-building process in place.  We help individuals, teams, and organizations develop Legacy Solutions using the Five Elements of Successful Parent Engagement.  

The old adage, "Give a man a fish, you feed him for a day.  Teach a man to fish, you feed him for a lifetime " is a good way to look at what we do.   

Imagine teaching each person, not just how to fish in local waters for a single  species of fish, but how to learn about new fishing techniques, bait, tackle, and  locations relevant to fishing in any body of water, anywhere in the world.   Wait, there's more.  Imagine teaching them how to  create from scratch an entire education program centered around  adaptive fishing  practices.  They aren't just fishing for themselves anymore.  Now they are  enabling many others to learn how to fish anywhere in the world.  There is one more step  beyond that - developing and teaching a duplication process for their "students" to build similar schools anywhere in the world.  

For example, if a single elementary school hires us to train a handful of willing teachers and administrators on effective parent engagement practices, we can also teach them how to develop their own school-wide program to bring the rest of the faculty and staff on board.   After that, there is no reason why this program cannot be duplicated and offered to multiple schools in the same district.  If it is done well and takes root, it can become a part of that community's future for decades.  

Engagement is a two-way street.  
Too many schools engage parents by communicating at them,
the same way they  communicate from the front of the classroom
​  - broadcasting instructional messages.
Parents are adults.  They need to be heard.
 Listening is a powerful way to engage someone.

Parent Engagement Solutions was birthed out of a consulting company called Leading To Your Success.  The core premise of Leading To Your Success is that you are the one who will be succeeding, not the consultant.   From that position all efforts are rooted in enabling, educating, encouraging, and empowering the client to build successful capabilities that can be  repeated in various arenas,  In effect, giving them all the tools they'll need to succeed - perpetually.  
Parent Engagement Solutions operates on the  same principle.  Each teacher, district, parent group, group leader, parent, and community member holds the power to impact change for the greater good.   By providing any one of them with the tools to succeed at improving parent engagement more and more capability will grow within that community, and things will inevitably change for the better.   This will be their success story, not ours.  Just the way we like it.
